Trstenik Beach

Trstenik Beach (Split)
Trstenik Beach is a pebble beach located on the eastern side of Split, a less crowded and quieter cove that offers a nice alternative to more popular beaches such as Bačvice. At around 400–500 meters in length, the crescent-shaped shoreline is covered with medium-sized pebbles.
Trstenik is popular among those who want to enjoy peace and space by the sea, and thanks to its proximity to Split’s city center, it’s easy to reach by taxi, bus, or on foot from Žnjan. On the beach you can find basic amenities such as showers and changing cabins, and during the season sun loungers and umbrellas are often available for rent for a more comfortable stay.
Because of its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere, Trstenik is a favorite choice for families, couples, and anyone looking to avoid big crowds while still enjoying clean sea water and a pleasant area for sunbathing and swimming.

Other information:
During the summer, Trstenik is a popular city beach, especially in July and August, so it’s best to arrive early in the morning or later in the evening. The beach is covered with pebbles, and the entrance to the sea is generally comfortable but becomes deeper more quickly than on sandy beaches, which is good to keep in mind if you are visiting with small children or less confident swimmers. Nearby you will find amenities such as a seaside promenade, cafés, and shops, and Žnjan can easily be reached on foot along the coast.
During the peak season, parking in the surrounding area can be limited and fills up quickly, so it is often more practical to arrive on foot, by public transport, or by taxi. If you have photos or videos from Trstenik, feel free to share them – we would be happy to publish them.
