1. Šibenik Riviera

The small towns of the Šibenik Riviera, with their peaceful atmosphere and crystal-clear sea, are ideal for a family holiday. In addition, the ancient city of Šibenik has been hosting the International Children’s Festival every summer for more than 50 years, during which children’s plays and workshops take place in its squares and streets. Don’t miss Krka National Park, where your little ones can enjoy swimming beneath the waterfalls.
2. Omiš Riviera

The Omiš Riviera is famous for its long sandy and pebble beaches that are perfect for children. Duće, Pisak, Stanići, Omiš, and Marušići are just some of the charming places where you can enjoy a family holiday. Children especially love the Omiš Pirate Nights, during which they can sail with pirates down the Cetina River and enjoy pirate-themed performances and games.
3. Island of Brac

The most famous symbol of the island of Brač is Zlatni Rat Beach, whose fine pebbles and crystal-clear sea are perfect for children’s play. On the northern side of the island, you’ll find two beautiful family-friendly sandy beaches: Lovrečina near Postira and Vela Luka in Supetar. Another must-see attraction is the Sutivan Nature Park, where children can meet around 30 different animal species.
4. Island of Rab

The island of Rab is often called the “island of happiness,” which comes as no surprise since it is one of the greenest Croatian islands, boasting around 30 sandy beaches. The most famous among them is Paradise Beach (Rajska plaža), where you’ll find plenty of fun activities for children, warm and shallow waters, and the natural shade of a pine forest. Check out our selection of accommodation on Rab in towns with sandy beaches and enjoy a carefree summer holiday with your family.
5. Zadar Riviera

Thanks to its proximity to five national parks and two nature parks, the Zadar Riviera is a favorite destination for families. Its natural beauty also includes numerous fine pebble and sandy beaches, the most famous of which is the 3 km long Queen’s Beach (Kraljičina plaža) in Nin, with its long shallow waters that are perfect for children. The ancient city of Zadar, with its Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun, is an exceptional attraction for both kids and adults.
